Routine cleaning

Quartz stone will inevitably leave stains when it comes into contact with wine, vinegar, tea, lemon juice, soda or fruits and vegetables. So we should erase the stain before it is dried, which will avoid the trouble. Treat undried adhering stains with a mild dishwashing detergent and a soft cloth.

Deep cleaning: daily wiping and attention to spills and clutter will meet the basic routine maintenance requirements of your countertop, but we also recommend regular, more in-depth general cleaning. For best results, spray a large amount of non-corrosive surface cleaner on the quartz stone countertop and let stand for 10 minutes. Wipe off with a scratch-free sponge.

What should not be done: easy to clean when cleaning quartz countertops. But to maintain the integrity and aesthetics of quartz stone countertops is more of a thing that should not be done. Abrasives and acid or alkaline cleaners: do not use abrasive cleaners and avoid scrubbing pads that may blunt the surface. Usually we recommend using soapy water to solve the stain problem. If you need a mild detergent to remove surface stains, make sure it is specifically for quartz. It is also possible to use harsh cleaning solutions at both ends of the pH spectrum, including nail polish removers and turpentine as well as drain cleaners and dishwasher rinses. Whether it is highly acidic or highly alkaline, these chemicals will destroy the bond between quartz and resin to some extent.

Quartz can withstand mild alkaline solutions such as diluted bleach, but high pH materials such as oven cleaners and concentrated bleach can damage the surface. Please contact any of the above substances with your quartz countertop. The insulation pad is your best friend for quartz countertops. Although quartz stone has heat resistance and scorch resistance, sudden changes in temperature or prolonged contact with a hot pot placed on the table may cause cracking of the quartz stone. For your safety, use a tripod or a thermal pad.

Recommended use of chopping board. Quartz is a hard surface, but we still recommend avoiding direct contact with sharp objects such as knives to avoid ugly scratches on quartz countertops. Quartz stone is not suitable for outdoor kitchens. If you are installing outdoors, the quartz stone will fade in color and cause warping or splitting day after day in direct sunlight.
